Srinagar: A SpiceJet from Delhi to Srinagar has to make an emergency landing on Friday. According to reports, Flight SG 385 was launched in an emergency at Srinagar Airport due to technical fault in air pressure on Friday afternoon. The flight had 205 passengers, including 4 children and 7 crew members. Officials said the flight made a safe landing at 3:27 pm and no passenger or crew member needed medical help. According to officials, the aircraft will now be investigated to ensure that it is completely safe.

Recently, the Ministry of Civil Aviation had told the Rajya Sabha that 10 aircraft had to make emergency landing since January 2024 due to technical fault. If seen in this way, today the 11th incident of Emergency Landing took place. Apart from this, 2 times incidents of air turbulance (upheaval in the sky) also came to light. This information was given by Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol. He said that from 2020 to June 2025, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has made 171 regulatory audit to further improve the security of air travel.

Ahmedabad had lost 260 people in plane accident

Mohol also stated that on 12 June 2025, an Air India aircraft VT-ANB, which was going from Ahmedabad to London Gatvik, declared a medade (Mayday) and unfortunately it became a victim of the accident. 260 people lost their lives in this accident. Explain that after the Ahmedabad accident, the audit being made by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and DGCA is being strictly ensured that air travel is safe. Passengers are always the first priority, and every necessary steps are being taken in this direction.
