Sreesanth again stamped the ban on Sreesanth, KCA adopted a tough stand on this matter!
KCA Suspends S Sreesanth for 3 years: Former fast bowler of the Indian team, S Sreesanth remains in the headlines. Sometimes because of his statements and sometimes because of cricket. Now Sreesanth is again in the headlines. This time the reason for being in the discussion is the tough stance of the Kerala Cricket Association. This tough stance has been raised on S Sreesanth by banning a 3 -year ban. KCA took this tough step, accusing Sreesanth of making a “false and derogatory” statement against the State Cricket Board.
S Sreesanth’s statement
S Sreesanth recently criticized the Kerala Cricket Association in an interview to a Kerala news portal ‘Omanorama’, saying that the association has failed to prepare new players for the Indian team.
S Sreesanth had said, “We have only one player at the international level, Sanju Samson. We should support him. The so -called KCA has not given any international player after Sanju. We have many talented players like Sachin, Nidhish, Vishnu Vinod, but is KCA trying to promote him?”
Sreesanth caught in trouble after supporting Sanju?
In fact, earlier this year, Sanju Samson was dropped from the Ranji Trophy and the Vijay Hazare Trophy Kerala team. Since then, S Sreesanth was constantly giving statements in his support. Now after this tough stance of KCA, it is being said that Sreesanth has been banned to give a statement in support of Sanju Samson. However, the Kerala Cricket Association clarified that action has been taken on Sreesanth not to support Samson, but to make a statement against the association.
KCA was going to take action on these too
KCA issued an official statement on the entire matter, saying that after the disputed comments, S Sreesanth and franchise teams – Kollam Aries, Alleppey Team Lead Content Creator Sai Krishna and Alleppic Reples were sent show cause notices.
The statement further stated that since the franchise teams have given satisfactory reply to the notice, no further action will be taken against them. However, the KCA has directed the team management to be more vigilant while incorporating new members in future.
In this case, the Kerala Cricket Association has not only taken action against S Sreesanth, but is also preparing to take legal action against Sanju Samson’s father Samson Vishwanath. Vishwanath also publicly accused KCA of harming his son’s career.
