IPL (IPL) 2008 famous ‘slap controversy’ may have happened years ago, but its effect still reflects. Sreesanth recently told that his daughter refused to talk to Harbhajan Singh. At the same time, recently Bhajji also admitted that the incident is the biggest regret of his life and he wants this chapter to disappear forever.

The slap controversy in the 2008 IPL was one of the most controversial events in cricket history. After that match, Harbhajan Singh slapped Sreesanth, whose pictures and videos became very viral at that time. Although both the players moved forward with time, the echo of the incident continued to be heard even.

Former fast bowler Sreesanth recently shared an emotional anecdote on Padamjeet Sehrawat’s YouTube channel. He told, “When I told the daughter that they are Bhajji Pa, who has played with me, he immediately refused and said, ‘No, I will not speak hi.’ I was surprised.

Sreesanth further said that during the Legends tournament the next day, he explained to the daughter, “We told that she is like our elder brother. I don’t think they had done deliberately, just in that moment. It was learning for us.”

On the other hand, Harbhajan Singh has also regretted this incident many times. Recently, he said in Ashwin’s show “Kutty Stories with Ash”, “I want to erase that incident from my life. I should not have done that. I apologized to Sreesanth hundreds of times. But when his daughter told me, ‘I don’t want to talk to you, you had killed my father’, I broke my heart. I almost cried.”

Bhajji had said that he does not want Sreesanth’s daughter to see him from the wrong perspective. “I just pray that when he is older, see me differently. I will always be present for him. That is why I want this chapter to disappear.”
