The 2016 edition winners Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will start their campaign for 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with a match against the two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders. This match will take place at Eden Gardens on March 23 (Saturday). This could be a possible restart for SRH, as they have a new captain now.
The franchise invested a big amount of INR 20.5 crore to sign World Cup-winning captain Pat Cummins, and he will be leading the team. They have gathered some brilliant overseas stars. And it will be a headache to choose four of them. However, here we will talk about the predicted XI for the Sunrisers in the KKR vs SRH clash on Saturday.

1.Travis Head
Travis Head should not wait, and he should be among the first-choice overseas players in the squad. SRH struggled with their opening pair in 2023 and tried a couple of players. Head brings you the stability at the top with the aggressive intent, which can be a dangerous combo for KKR on Saturday.
2. Mayank Agarwal
Indian opener Mayank Agarwal will be a perfect partner for Head because he can take time and then play his shots. Both will compliment each other, and that can put pressure on KKR because if SRH get off to a good start, they have the firepower to go for a big total.
3. Rahul Tripathi
Rahul Tripathi played for KKR before joining SRH in 2022. He is aware of the playing conditions in Kolkata and can use them to good effect. He is a free-flowing batter who plays shots all around the ground, which makes it hard to bowl at him. Hence, he can be a difficult batter to get out.
4. Heinrich Klaasen (wk)

8. Washington Sundar
Washington Sundar batting at No. 7 or 8 indicates how good this batting lineup is. The all-rounder is a capable batsman who can play quick cameos in the final overs. Adding to that, he is one of those spinners who can bowl even in the powerplay, and his bowling will suit the pitch in Kolkata.
9. Umran Malik
SRH have certainly got one of the best bowling attacks, and Umran Malik is one of their main weapons. A bowler bowling at a speed of over 150 km/h on a pitch with an uneven bounce becomes impossible to handle sometimes. Hence, Umran can make life difficult for KKR batsmen.
10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been doing it over the years for SRH, and he will be the one who bowls with the new ball and in the final overs. His experience and cool head are a very good combination for a fast bowler. He is someone who can bowl at any kind of pitch.
11.T.Natarajan
T. Natarajan adds another variety to the SRH bowling line-up. He is very good at bowling yorkers at any time of the match, and that makes him a good bowler. He can be deceptive at times and can make use of the conditions in Kolkata.
