This incident has shook the entire country and every Indian has anger in his heart and he is demanding strict action against the terrorists from the government. This attack has also affected the IPL, due to which some things will not be seen in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to pay tribute to the victims of Pahalgam terror attack during the 41st match of IPL 2025 between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday, 23 April. In memory of the victims, the players and umpires will tie a black band and also keep a minute’s silence before the match.

In addition, there will be no cheerleaders in the field due to restraint during the entire match. Top leaders of the world have widely condemned the attack on innocent tourists, and many Indian cricketers have also expressed their solidarity with the families of the victims. Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill have condemned the attack through their social media account.

However, this is not the first time that the BCCI stands in solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attack. Earlier in 2019, the BCCI had decided not to organize the inauguration ceremony of the 12th season of IPL after the Pulwama attack. Instead, the authorities decided to donate money for the welfare of the families of the victims. The Indian cricket team also wore a Camouflage cap to honor the army members who lost their lives in the incident during the third ODI against Australia in March 2019.

At present, there is an atmosphere of anger in the country due to this attack and every citizen’s eyes are on the government at this time in which way they answer this attack.
