Sunrisers Hyderabad have suffered a major setback before their next match of IPL 2025. The team’s star opener Travis Head has been found to be Kovid-19 positive and due to this he will not be able to land against LSG on May 19 at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow.

The team’s head coach Daniel Vateri confirmed this on Sunday. He told that Travis is not able to travel with the team right now, but it is expected that he will be available to play the next match.

SRH is out of the playoff race this season, but if she defeats Lucknow, Rishabh Pant’s team will also be out of the top-4 race. In such a situation, the Hyderabad team will definitely land with the intention of winning.

The performance of the Travis Head has been full of ups and downs this season. He has scored 281 runs in 10 out of 11 innings, including only two half -centuries. In his absence, Ishaan Kishan can open, which has still flopped themselves.

Not only batting, SRH’s bowling has also faded this time. Mohammed Shami, who had the highest expectations, has taken just 6 wickets in 9 matches so far and his economy rate has been 11.23.
