Sri Krishna Puja starts for a month in Vrindavan, these 4 festivals will be held till Janmashtami
Hindola Jhula, the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Krishna is celebrated in Braj Mandal from Ashtami of Krishna Paksha of Sawan month to Ashtami. During this time, Lord Shiva’s child form is worshiped with Lord Shiva. It is said that one who worships Krishna during this time attains salvation. It is said that Lord Krishna is happy in this month and gives the desired groom. During this period, 5 special celebrations are celebrated in Braj Mandal, especially in Vrindavan.
Sawan festival is organized in Braj Mandal Shri Krishna’s city Mathura, Gokul, Barsana and Vrindavan. This Sawan festival of Braj Mahal is celebrated in various ways till Krishna born Krishna. For example, in these festivals, the swing, reduce, rasleela and gaurangleela are organized in Hindole.
1. Hindola: Here, two silver and one gold cargo are inserted in the temple from Krishnapaksha of Shravan month. In these Hindols, Lord Krishna is burnt. Balarama also swings along with Krishna in Hindole in the month of Shravan.
2. Hariyali Teej: Hariyali Teej is celebrated in Braj Mandal, especially in Vrindavan. In the ancient Radhavallabh temple here, the Hindole of silver, bananas, flowers and leaves etc. is added from Hariyali Teej to Rakshabandhan and wears Thakurji Pavitra on Pavitra Ekadashi.
3. Raslila: After spring, Shri Krishna creates rasa in this month. The main attraction of Vrindavan is presented by the world famous Rasacharyo. In which there is a live presentation of Krishna Leelas.
4. Ghat celebration: In addition to the Sawan festival in the Brajmandal in Sawan month, Ghata festival is also organized in which Kanha’s pastimes are presented in the attractive Ghat of various colors.
