Sri Lanka announced the team for T20 series against Bangladesh, Charith Asanka will be captain
The Sri Lanka Cricket Board on Monday announced its 17-member team for the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh. The command of this team is once again given in the hands of Charith Asanka. The first match will be held at Pallekele on Thursday, the second match will be held on Sunday at Dambula and the final match will be held on 16 July at Premdasa Stadium in Colombo.
In the current ODI series, Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by 16 runs in the second match in Colombo on Saturday to equal the three-match series 1-1 and the decisive match will be played in Pallekele on Tuesday. Earlier, Sri Lanka won the two-match Test series 1-0. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether Bangladesh can win in ODI and T20 series after losing the Test series.
At the same time, Bangladesh has also announced its team for this series. Shanto is excluded from the T20 series. Apart from them, the BCB Selection Committee has dropped Khalid Ahmed, Tanveer Islam, Hasan Mahmood and Soumya government out of the T20 team.
