Stock market closed with a decline, Sensex fell by 283 points, Nifty below 19000.
New Delhi, The domestic stock market closed with a decline for the second consecutive day. On Wednesday, November 1, the Sensex fell by 283.60 points to close at 63,591.33, while the Nifty slipped by 90.45 points and closed at the level of 18,989.15.
Pressure on the stock market came from shares of IT, metal, auto and banking sectors. On the other hand, buying was seen in shares of media, pharma, government banking and realty sectors. Earlier on Tuesday, BSE Sensex had weakened by 237 points and closed at the level of 63,874.
