Share Market Opening 7 August, 2025: On Thursday, the domestic stock market started trading with a major decline. On the fourth day of the week, BSE Sensex started trading at 80,262.98 points with a decline of 281.01 points (0.35%). On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 index opened today at 24,464.20 points with a loss of 110.00 points (0.45%). Let us tell you that US President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced an additional tariff on India to buy oil from Russia. After this 25 percent additional tariff, the total tariff imposed by the US on India has now increased to 50 percent.

Shares of 40 out of 50 companies of Nifty opened in red mark

Today, only 4 out of 30 companies of Sensex opened in green mark with an increase and the shares of all the remaining 26 companies opened in red mark. On the other hand, today, only 10 out of 50 company shares of Nifty 50 started trading in the green mark and the remaining 40 companies opened in red mark with losses. Maruti Suzuki’s shares, one of the Sensex companies, opened the highest 0.36 percent today and Kotak Mahindra Bank’s shares today opened with a decline of 1.21 percent today.

How did Sensex shares start today

On Thursday, the rest of the Sensex companies opened with Bajaj Finserv shares 0.32 percent, ITC shares 0.11 percent and HDFC Bank shares with a gain of 0.04 percent.

On the other hand, today the shares of Tata Steel have given 0.98 percent, Adani ports 0.97 percent, Eater 0.84 percent, SBI 0.82 percent, Tata Motors 0.65 percent, Trent 0.64 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.61 percent, Reliance Industries 0.57 percent, Asian Paints 0.53 percent, BEL 0.51 percent, Finance 0.43 percent, L&T 0.43 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.41 percent, HCL Tech 0.34 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.34 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.32 percent, NTPC 0.30 percent, TCS 0.29 percent, Axis Bank 0.20 percent, Infosys 0.19 percent, Infoses 0.18 percent, Surprising Mahindra 0.13 percent, Titan 0.13 percent, Powergrid 0.11 percent and ICICI Bank shares started trading with a decline of 0.04 percent.
