Stock market declines for the second consecutive day, Sensex 346 and Nifty lost 121 points
Share Market Closing 10 July, 2025: On Thursday, the Indian stock market saw a decline for the second consecutive day. On the fourth day of the week, the BSE Sensex closed at 83,190.28 points with a decline of 345.80 points (0.41%). Similarly, today NSE’s Nifty 50 index also closed at 25,355.25 points with a loss of 120.85 points (0.47%). On Thursday, the shares of both the major index Sensex and most of the Nifty 50 companies closed with losses. Let us tell you that today the stock market started trading with an increase, but shortly after, selling dominated the market and it came in a red mark.
Shares of 22 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in red mark
On Thursday, only 8 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in green mark with an increase and the shares of all the remaining 22 companies closed in red mark. Similarly, only 12 out of 50 of the Nifty 50 came to a green mark with shares and the remaining 38 companies closed in red mark with losses. Today, Maruti Suzuki’s shares, one of the Sensex companies, closed down to 1.36 percent with the highest growth while Bharti Airtel’s shares closed down 2.63 percent today.
How was the condition of Sensex shares today
Among the rest of the Sensex companies today, Tata Steel shares were 1.01 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.69, Bajaj Finserv 0.66, Tata Motors 0.41, TCS 0.38, Trent 0.24 and Axis Bank shares closed with a gain of 0.03 percent.
On the other hand, shares of Asian Paints 1.92 percent, BEL 1.05, Tech Mahindra 0.94, Infosys 0.82, Artnal 0.79, HCL Tech 0.74, UltraTech Cement 0.67, ITC 0.66, NTPC 0.64, ICICI Bank 0.63, Hindustan Unileer 0.63, Hindustan Unile 0.55, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.51, HDFC Bank 0.43, Titan 0.43, SBI 0.36, Sunforma 0.21, Powergrid 0.20, Reliance Industries 0.12, L&T shut down with a decline of 0.05 percent.
