Share Market Closing 17 July, 2025: After a two -day lead, the Indian stock market once again saw a decline. On Thursday, the BSE Sensex closed at 82,259.24 points with a slight gain of 375.24 points (0.45%). Similarly, today NSE’s Nifty 50 index also closed at 25,111.45 points with a loss of 100.60 points (0.40%). Today, most of the stock markets of the stock market closed in the red mark. Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the Sensex closed at 82,634.48 points with a slight gain of 63.57 points (0.08%) and the Nifty 50 index closed at 25,212.05 points with a gain of 16.25 points (0.06%).

Tech Mahindra shares closed with great decline

Today, only 7 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in the green mark with an increase and the shares of all the remaining 23 companies closed in red mark. Similarly, only 19 out of 50 of the Nifty 50 came to the green mark with a gain of 19 companies and the shares of 31 companies closed in the red mark with losses, while a company’s shares closed without any change today. Today, Tata Steel’s shares, one of the Sensex companies, closed down 1.68 percent, while Tech Mahindra shares closed down 2.68 percent today.

Among the rest of the Sensex companies, Trent’s shares today closed up 0.68 percent, Titan 0.45, Tata Motors 0.41, UltraTech Cement 0.30, Bajaj Finance 0.24 and Sunforma with a gain of 0.18 percent.

On the other hand, Infosys shares 1.61 percent, HCL Tech 1.20, Eater 0.97, L&T 0.78, TCS 0.74, Axis Bank 0.68, Bajaj Finserv 0.60, Reliance Industries 0.58, Maruti Suzuki 0.54, BEL 0.52, HDFC Bank 0.48, HDFC Bank 0.47. ICICI Bank 0.42, Bharti Airtel 0.41, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.36, SBI 0.35, Adani Ports 0.30, Hindustan Unilever 0.30, ITC 0.15, Powergrid 0.15, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.04 and NTPC shares closed with a decline of 0.01 percent.
