Share Market Opening 23 June, 2025: The Indian stock market opened with a huge decline today amidst the deepening tension in the middle-East. The BSE Sensex opened 704.10 points to 81,704.07 points on Monday. Similarly, the NSE Nifty 50 index also opened with a large decline of 172.65 points to 24,939.75 points. Let us tell you that on Friday, the market closed the business with a big jump on Friday. On Friday, the Sensex gained 1046.30 points (1.29%) to 82,408.17 points and the Nifty closed at 25,112.40 points with 319.15 points (1.29%).

Shares of 28 out of 30 of Sensex opened in red mark

On Monday, only 2 out of 30 companies of Sensex opened in green mark with an increase and the remaining 28 companies opened with a decline in red mark. Similarly, today, only 6 out of 50 of Nifty 50 opened the shares of 6 companies and opened in red mark with shares of all the remaining 44 companies. BEL shares involved in Sensex companies open with the highest 1.36 percent and Infosys shares opened with the biggest decline of 2.17 percent today.

Among the rest of the companies included in the Sensex, HCL Tech shares today 1.20%, Eterinal 1.14%, Hindustan Unilever 1.07%, Tech Mahindra 0.98%, Bajaj Finance 0.93%, Powergrid 0.89%, Reliance 0.84%, Axis Bank 0.82%, Axis Bank 0.82%, NTPC 0.82%, ASian Paints 0.81%, ASian Penks 0.79%, Titan 0.77%, Trent 0.76%, ICICI Bank 0.74%, Tata Steel 0.72%, UltraTech Cement 0.71%, Adani Ports 0.70%, Tata Motors 0.67%, ITC 0.65%, ITC 0.65%, HDFC Bank 0.63%, HDFC Bank 0.56% 0.55%, Maruti Suzuki 0.44%, Bajaj Finserv 0.41%, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.39%.
