Stock market falls, Sensex falls 422 points, Adani Enterprises shares slip 23%
Mumbai. There has been a decline in the stock market today i.e. on 21st November. Sensex closed at 77,155 with a fall of 422 points. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 168 points, it closed at the level of 23,349.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 have seen a decline and 10 have seen a rise. Today there is a huge decline in automobile and auto shares. Adani Enterprises’ share was the top loser of Nifty with a fall of 23.44%. There was a rise in IT shares today.
There was mixed trading in Asian markets
In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei fell by 0.85 percent and Korea’s Kospi fell by 0.06 percent. Whereas China’s Shanghai Composite has seen an increase of 0.07 percent. On November 20, America’s Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.32 percent to 43,408 and the S&P 500 closed 0.002 percent higher to 5,917. Nasdaq fell 0.11 percent to close at 18,966. According to NSE data, foreign investors sold shares worth Rs 3,411 crore on November 19. During this period, domestic investors bought shares worth Rs 2,783 crore.
