The domestic stock market opened with a gains on the last trading day of the week amid global stress and global signals. After the flat start, the 30 -share BSE Sensex later rose 289.43 points to 81,651. The NSE Nifty with 30.50 shares rose 88.25 points to 24,881.50. Later at 9.38 am, the BSE Sensex was again trading at 81539.60 points for a rise of 177.73 points. Similarly, the Nifty was trading at a level of 24,839.95 with a gain of 46.70 points. On the other hand, the Nifty Bank was up 134.95 points at 55712.40 level.

In the early stages of the session, the BSE Midcap index saw stability, while the smallcap index declined by 0.4 percent. In the sectors, PSU Bank, Realty, Telecom rose by 0.5 percent. Early trade is the major benefits on Tata Motors, Trent, Bajaj Finserv, SBI, Dr. Reddy’s Labs Nifty, while Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, Apollo Hospitals have declined. PSU Bank, Realty, Telecom rose by 0.5 per cent in sectors.
