Stock market has a terrible decline for third consecutive day, Sensex 572 and Nifty 156 points broken
Share Market Closing 28 July, 2025: On Monday, the Indian stock market saw a major decline for the third consecutive day. On the first day of the week, the BSE Sensex closed at 80,891.02 points with a major decline of 572.07 points (0.70%). Similarly, today NSE’s Nifty 50 index also closed at 24,680.90 points with a loss of 156.10 points (0.63%). Let us tell you that on Friday and Thursday, the market had a terrible decline on Friday and Thursday. On Friday, the Sensex 721 and the Nifty closed down by 225 points. While on Thursday, the Sensex closed down 542.47 and the Nifty closed down by 157.80 points.
Kotak Mahindra Bank shares heavy losses
Today, only 7 out of 30 companies of Sensex closed in green mark with an increase and the remaining 23 companies closed with a decline in red mark. Similarly, only 15 out of 50 of Nifty 50 closed shares with an increase in green mark and the shares of 35 companies closed in red mark with losses. Today, Hindustan Unilever shares, one of the Sensex companies, closed down 1.23 percent. While Kotak Mahindra Bank shares closed down the highest 7.50 percent today.
How was the situation of the rest of the Sensex companies today
Asian Paints shares in the rest of the Sensex today, ICICI Bank 0.82, Powergrid 0.43, HDFC Bank 0.18, ITC 0.11 and Infosys closed with a gain of 0.03 percent.
On the other hand, on Monday, Bajaj Finance shares 3.64, Bharti Airtel 2.35, Titan 2.17, TCS 1.76, BEL 1.48, HCL Tech 1.47, Axis Bank 1.25, Adani Ports 1.21, Mahindra & Mahindra 1.17, Mahindra 1.17, SBI 1.16, SBI 1.08, Tata Steel 1.08, Trickery 0.89, Trickery 0.89, Teach Mahindra 0.81, Tata Motors 0.73, L&T 0.61, Maruti Suzuki 0.57, Reliance Industries 0.34, UltraTech Cement 0.32, Bajaj Finserv 0.24, Sunforma 0.21 and NTPC closed with a decline of 0.11 percent.
