Share Market Closing 17 June, 2025: The Indian stock market today shut down in a red mark with a decline. On Tuesday, the BSE Sensex closed at 81,583.30 points with a decline of 212.85 points (0.26%). Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 also closed at 24,853.40 points with a loss of 93.10 points (0.37%) today. Yesterday, the Sensex gained 677.55 points to 81,796.15 points and the Nifty rose by 227.90 points to close at 24,946.50 points.
Large fall recorded in shares of Sunforma
On Tuesday, only 9 out of 30 Sensex’s shares closed in the green mark, while the shares of all the remaining 21 companies closed with a decline in the red mark. Similarly, only 11 out of 50 of Nifty 50 closed shares with an increase in green mark and the remaining 39 companies closed in red mark with losses. Today, Tech Mahindra’s shares, who were among the Sensex companies, closes with the highest 1.71 percent gain, while Sunforma’s shares closed down 2.18 percent today.

Asian Paints shares in Sensex’s other companies today closed with an increase of 0.93 percent, Infosys 0.92, Maruti Suzuki 0.60, NTPC 0.48, TCS 0.46, HCL Tech 0.40, Hindustan Unilever 0.18 and Powergrid’s shares.
On the other hand, today the shares of the Eaterial shares 1.92%, Tata Motors 1.70%, Bajaj Finance 1.58%, IndusInd Bank 1.40%, Bajaj Finserv 1.28%, Nestle India 1.28%, Tata Steel 0.97%, Titan 0.88%, Titan 0.88%, Ultrachec Cement 0.87%, Ultrachech Cement 0.87%, Adani Ports 0.62%, Mahindra & Mahindra was closed with a decline of decline of Mahindra & Mahindra 0.45%, Bharti Airtel 0.37%, HDFC Bank 0.28%, ICICI Bank 0.20%, Larsen & Toubro 0.18%, ITC 0.12%, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.11%and SBI’s share.
