Share Market Opening 5 August, 2025: On Tuesday, the Indian stock market started trading in a red mark with a decline. On the second day of the week, the BSE Sensex started trading at 80,946.43 points with a decline of 72.29 points (0.09%). On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 today opened at 24,720.25 points with a loss of 2.50 points (0.01%). Let us tell you that on Monday, the market started business in green mark. Yesterday, the Sensex gained 165.92 points to 80,765.83 points and the Nifty gained 30.70 points to 24,596.05 points.
14 Sensex companies started business in green mark
On Tuesday, only 14 out of 30 companies of Sensex opened with an increase in green mark and the remaining 16 companies opened with a decline in red mark. On the other hand, today, 26 out of 50 of the Nifty 50, 26 company shares started trading in green mark and the remaining 24 companies opened in red mark with losses. UltraTech Cement shares included in the Sensex companies today opened with the highest 0.65 percent and Infosys shares opened with a decline of 0.71 percent today.

Apart from these, in the rest of the Sensex companies today, Bharti Airtel shares 0.62 percent, Eutonral 0.49 percent, NTPC 0.41 percent, Titan 0.40 percent, SBI 0.40 percent, HCL Tech 0.39 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.34 percent, Asian Paints 0.33 percent, Asian Paints 0.33 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.31 percent, Tata Motors 0.24 percent ITC opened with 0.16 percent, Adani Ports 0.15 percent and Bajaj Finance with 0.07 percent.

On the other hand, on Tuesday, Tech Mahindra shares on Tuesday, 0.64 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.60 percent, Axis Bank 0.42 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.38 percent, TCS 0.32 percent, Reliance Industries 0.30 percent, BEL 0.24 percent, Hindustan Unilever, 0.20 percent, Sunforma 0.19 percent, Tantra 0.17 percent Steel started trading with loss of 0.16 percent, ICICI Bank 0.14 percent, HDFC Bank 0.11 percent, L&T 0.04 percent and Powergrid shares with loss of 0.02 percent.
