Share Market Opening 4 August, 2025: After the announcement of US President Donald Trump’s 25 percent tariff, the market started business in the green mark today. On Monday, the BSE Sensex opened 165.92 points to 80,765.83 points. Similarly, today NSE’s Nifty 50 index also opened up to 24,596.05 points with a gain of 30.70 points. Today, the IT stocks are once again seen declining. Let us tell you that the Indian stock market had seen a decline for 4 consecutive days last week.

20 Sensex companies started business with gains

On the first day of the week, on Monday, 20 out of 30 companies of the Sensex opened in green mark and the remaining 10 companies opened with a decline in red mark. On the other hand, today, 31 out of 50 of Nifty 50, 31 company shares started trading in green mark and the shares of the remaining 14 companies opened in red mark, while 5 company shares opened without any change today. The shares of Adani Ports, one of the Sensex companies, opened the highest 1.54 percent today and Bajaj Finance shares today opened with a decline of 0.44 percent today.

These shares including Reliance, Tata Steel start positively

Among the rest of the Sensex companies today, Reliance Industries shares 0.95 percent, Tata Steel 0.88, ITC 0.71, Asian Paints 0.58, BEL 0.52, Maruti Suzuki 0.50, Bajaj Finserv 0.50, NTPC 0.45, TCS 0.38, TCS 0.35, TCS 0.35, TCS 0.34, ICECI Bank 0.32, SBI 0.13, Ultratech Cement 0.08, Bharti Airtel 0.06, Axis Bank 0.06, Tata Motors 0.05, HDFC Bank 0.04 and L&T shares opened with 0.01 percent.

Shares of these companies opened in red mark

On the other hand, on Monday, the stocks of Eaterial started 0.36 percent, Infosys 0.31, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.28, Tech Mahindra 0.28, HCL Tech 0.18, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.11, Powergrid 0.10, Hindustan Unilever 0.05 and Titan’s shares started trade with 0.03 percent.
