Share Market Opening 2nd May, 2025: The Indian stock market started the flat on the first trading day of May 2025. On the last day of the week, on Friday, on one side, the BSE Sensex gained 57.95 points to open at 80,300.19 points. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 index opened at 24,311.90 points with a loss of 22.30 points. Let us tell you that the Indian market started the flat on Wednesday. Today the BSE Sensex opened at 80,370.80 points with a gain of 82.42 points. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty 50 index is just. Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the BSE Sensex started trading at 80,370.80 points and Nifty 50 took a slight gain of 6.10 points to 24,342.05 points.
Adani Port’s shares
On Friday, 23 out of 30 companies of Sensex opened in green mark with an increase and the remaining 7 companies opened with a decline in red mark. On the other hand, today, 23 out of 50 of Nifty 50, 23 company shares started trading in green mark and opening in red mark with shares of 24 companies. Whereas, 3 company shares opened without any change. The shares of Adani Ports, including the Sensex companies, opened with the highest 3.69 per cent and the earrings shares today open with the biggest decline of 2.58 per cent today.
Shares of IT companies rise
Talking about the rest of the companies involved in the Sensex, today Mahindra & Mahindra shares 1.41 percent, Axis Bank 1.03 percent, TCS 1.01 percent, Infosys 0.93 percent, HCL Tech 0.79 percent, HDFC Bank 0.76 percent, ICICI Bank 0.72 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.64 percent, ITC 0.63 percent, ITC 0.63 percent, Maruti Sujuki 0.62 Percent, State Bank of India opened 0.58 percent, Reliance Industries 0.54 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.53 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.47 percent, Larsen & Toubro’s shares opened with a gain of 0.43 percent. On the other hand, on Friday, Titan shares opened 0.48 percent, Nestle India 0.30 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.24 percent, IndusInd Bank 0.21 percent, NTPC 0.04 percent and Tata Motors shares opened with a decline of 0.02 percent.
