Sambalpur: A case of stone pelting on the train has once again come to light in Sambalpur district of Odisha. The incident of stone pelting on the Elappi Express train in Talbhatapada area of Khetrajpur has come to light here. The incident is reported to be around 11:30 pm. The train between Khetrajpur and Talbhatapada was stopped for some time. The train was stopped due to lack of green signals. Meanwhile, taking advantage of the opportunity, three youths rained stones at a general bogie of the train. However, no passenger has been reported injured in this incident, but there was a panic in the passengers. As soon as the train stopped, there was chaos due to sudden stone pelting. It is a matter of honor that no passenger would find the stone and a lot of untoward was averted.
Three accused were caught by police
At the same time, as soon as the information of the incident was received, the Railway Protection Force immediately took action and registered a case. After this, the search for the accused was started. RPF investigation revealed that three youths were involved in the incident. All have been identified and arrested. Strict legal action is being taken against the arrested youths. Such incidents are a serious threat to the safety of railway passengers and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
Stones were also thrown on Tejaswini Express
Please tell that a few days ago, a similar stone was pelted on the Tapaswini Express near Lapanga station in Sambalpur. It is clear from these frequent incidents that the railways will have to further tighten the security, especially in places where trains stop or run slowly. Railway administration and RPF are also appealing to passengers that if any suspicious activity is seen, then inform it immediately, so that action can be taken in time.
