“Struggle is not between India and Pakistan, this is India vs Terristan”, a big message from Jaishankar
Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar
India Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar has told foreign journalists in Belgian capital Brussels that the long -standing struggle between India and Pakistan should not consider the conflict between the two countries, but see it as a struggle between a democracy and the nation that shelters the terrorists.
“Don’t see as India-Pakistan”
Addressing a joint press conference with European Commission Deputy Chairman Kaza Kalas, Jaishankar said, “This is not a struggle between the two states. It is actually a reaction to the danger of terrorism and its practice. I would urge you not to see it as India-Pakistan, but think of it as India-Terroristan.”
Said for solidarity- Thank you
S. Jaishankar on Tuesday met European Commission Chairman Ursula von Der Leon and Vice President Kalas and thanked him for the “severe condemnation” of the Pahalgam attack and solidarity in the fight against terrorism. During these meetings, Jaishankar also discussed the ongoing efforts to deepen the India-European Union partnership with Von Der Lean and Kalas.
Attack on terrorist bases
Let us know that 26 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, after which tension between India and Pakistan increased. India had carried out accurate attacks on terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) on 7 May.
Warning to attack inside Pakistan
Earlier on Monday, Jaishankar warned that if terrorist attacks were provoked, India would attack inside Pakistan. He had insisted that in the event of barbaric acts like Pahalgam, retaliation will be taken against terrorist organizations and their leaders.
