Successful organizing of special lectures on fitness, fasting and lifestyle in Indore’s Super Specialty Hospital

Everyone wants to avoid the problems of modern lifestyle, everyone wants them to live a healthy life, but in today’s run -of -the -mill life, people forget to focus on their health, but keeping this in mind, a special lecture was organized at Indore’s Super Specialty Hospital in Indore on Sunday, 27 April, 2025 pm. The purpose of this program was to make people aware of the risk of modern lifestyle diseases and inform them about the changes necessary for long life and better health.

The chief guest of this program was Dr. Arvind Ghanghoria, Dean of MGM Medical College, Indore. The program presented his lectures on the subject of ‘Long Long, Live Strong: The Science of Lifestyle, Fitness and Fasting’- famous cancer surgeon, oncologist, marathon runner and lifestyle coach Dr. Arun Aggarwal.

In this program, famous cancer surgeon, oncologist, marathon runner and lifestyle coach Dr. Arun Aggarwal said, ‘We all want our life to be long and healthy, but are we eating what keep our body healthy? We often think that ghee and oil increase obesity, but the real problem is from Chinese and Carbohydrates, with more than 95% of people being struggling with high glucose and insulin problems. Insulin, which is a storage hormone, causes fat to accumulate in the body and causes serious diseases.

* Today’s youth are moving towards fast food and poor eating habits, inadvertently they are falling prey to obesity, fatty liver and other diseases. Therefore, we should include fruits, green vegetables and good fats in our diet and avoid processed food. Also, for a good lifestyle, regular full body checkup is required and necessary vaccination at the age of 18-45 years.
Many times people do not get the checkup done due to fear of new disease, as a result of which their minor disease turns into a major disease, so checkups should be done on time so that the time of diseases can be known. Exercise and right diet is very important for a healthy lifestyle.

* Emphasizing fasting, Dr. Arun said, ‘Fasting is an effective way to rest the body, but nowadays all the fasts have been forgotten, fasting is a process that helps in controlling excess fat and controlling insulin levels. This causes the body’s cells repair and open the way of long life.
Keep in mind that there is no need to fasting children under 18 years of age, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women should not be fasted. The advantage of fasting is that when we increase the time between meals, we feel mentally and physically better. Gradually include it in your routine and take care of a balanced diet. Hopefully, whatever we all heard today, they will help in bringing positive changes in your life. Thank you!’

* Dr. Arvind Ghanghoria, Dean of MGM Medical College, Indore, the chief guest of the program, said that, ‘Healthy lifestyle does not mean only the right diet and exercise, but it is also the art of living our mental state and stress -free life. When we take care of both our body and mind, we can really make life healthy. Nowadays we are all living a life of stress and running, in which we ignore our health.
Therefore, maintaining balance in life, such as the right diet, adequate sleep, and mental peace are necessary. We have to understand that the correct synergy of both physical health and mental health can give us a healthy life. We can stay healthy for a long time by making regular exercise, right diet and mental comfort a part of our routine.

The main objective of this program was to tell everyone how small changes, such as regular exercise, balanced diet and stress management, can improve life. People of different ages participated in this lecture and learned from many necessary information related to health.
