Ottawa: The news of the death of the Indian student is coming out once again in Canada. An Indian student died at Calgary University in Canada. India’s Consulate General of India gave this information on Thursday at Vancouver. Consulate said that he is saddened by Indian student Tanya Tyagi’s sudden demise. “It said,” The consulate is in touch with the authorities and will provide all the necessary assistance to the mourning family. “It was not immediately clear how and under what circumstances the Indian student died.
Consulate has expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Consulate wrote in a post on X, “We are saddened by the sudden demise of Indian student Tanya Tyagi at Calgary University. Consulate is in contact with the officers and the condolence will provide all the necessary help to the bereaved family. Our sensations and prayers are with the victim’s family.”
Claim of death from heart attack
The authorities have not yet released more information about Tanya’s death or circumstances. However, a user named Ishu Tyagi posted on X, in which the Prime Minister’s Office of India (PMO) tagged assistance and claimed that Tanya died of a heart attack. He wrote, “Tanya Tyagi, a north-eastern Delhi student living in 559/11D, lane number 12, Vijay Park, went to Canada for studies. He died of a heart attack on 17 June 2025. The family of the student has appealed to PM Modi to help in bringing the body back. ”
Student died earlier too
Let us tell you that about 50 days before this incident, another Indian student died in Canada. The body of the Indian student Vanshika, who was missing for 4 days, has been recovered under suspicious circumstances. Vanshika was a native of Dera Bassi in the state of Punjab, India. Vanshika went missing on 25 April when she left to see a room. His mobile was also closed and one of his necessary examination was also missed.
