Supernatural horror series dark trailer release of darkness of darkness, stream will be stream on prime video on this day
Prime Video has launched the trailer of the upcoming supernatural horror-integration series ‘Dark’ with Excel Entertainment. In this series, Priya Bapat, Karanvir Malhotra, Prajakta Koli and Surveen Chawla will be seen in the lead roles. Along with this, a group of powerful artists are also included, including Vatsal Seth, Parveen Dabas and Pranay Pachauri in the lead roles.
The story composed in the world arising out of argument and unknown collision, darkness is an investigative drama that is rich in atmospheric supernatural horror and promises to give the audience a thrilling visual experience. The trailer, set between Mumbai’s dazzling but confusing skyline, removes the shining surface of the city and highlights a more scary and deep truth.
When a young woman goes missing in mysterious circumstances, Inspector Kalpana Kadam (Priya Bapat) and troubled medical student Jai (Karanvir Malhotra) are drawn into a world of creepy secrets. As their investigation exposes a hidden evil power, the layers of reality begin to crack. The boundaries of reality and frightening dreams begin to blur, and the pair are forced to confront the forces that are beyond any argument- and fights a darkness that is ready to swallow everything.
Director Raghav Dar says, through darkness we wanted to make something that would not only scare, but also forces them to think. ” Our aim was never to be dependent on the old patterns of the traditional horror, but to find fear as a psychological experience – a fear that is born from the ambition, guilt and buried secrets within us.
He said, basically, darkness is about the darkness that we inadvertently carry within ourselves. Through this series, we wanted to show the mirror to that inner turmoil, and also wanted to give a thrilling, breath-stop experience. It is horror, yes, but with a purpose, and with a beating that feels completely real.
Prajakta Koli said, the world of darkness immediately attracted me. It is a psychological horror story, but in its bottom it is a story of mental existence, truth and identity. My character is emotional, fearless and often doubtful, but she is also deeply influenced by things that she does not understand. Being a part of a story that is scary as well as emotionally, has been an unforgettable experience.
The darkness is built under the banner of Excel Entertainment by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Kasim Jagmagia, Mohit Shah and Karan Anshuman, and is the Vishal Ramchandani Associate Producer. This series of eight episodes has been written by Gaurav Desai, Raghav Dar, Chintan Sarduman and Karan Anshuman, and directed by Raghav Dar. Darkness will be specially streamful on prime videos in more than 240 countries and regions including India on 14 August.
