Chinni Jayant’s son Shrutanjay Narayanan graduated from Guindi College of Engineering and then earned a master’s degree from Ashoka University. He then gained the experience of working in a startup, but his real goal was to become an IAS officer. For this, along with the job, he did 4–5 hours of self-study daily and also supported himself financially by working in the night shift. He has never been dependent on his father. His hard work paid off and he got All India Rank 75 in UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2015. This was his second attempt. He chose Sociology as his alternative subject and also showed interest in geography. Currently Shrutanjay Narayanan is working as Sub Collector in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu. Earlier, he has taken many development schemes to rural areas while being posted as Additional Collector (Development) in Villupuram district. They are affecting the lives of people with their work in the field of civil service.
