The Miyapur police of Hyderabad have already registered a case against 25 people for promoting illegal betting. These include big names like actors Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Manchu Lakshmi and Nidhi Aggarwal. Police investigation revealed that these apps violate gambling laws and encourage the youth to bet. According to media reports, in March 2024, a criminal case was registered against 11 people including three women on similar allegations.
