The poor seemed to be poor while living alive, people were shocked to see the property after dying

Malkangiri: The sudden death of sweeper Dambaru Gada, who works at the main hospital in Malkangiri district of Odisha, shocked not only the hospital staff but the entire area. For 33 years, Dambaru, who lived in a small government quarter, always lived a simple life. Neither good clothes, no good food nor any rest. But when the house was searched after his death, something came to light that no one had imagined.

Money received everywhere in Dambaru’s house

Lakhs of rupees were recovered from Dambaru’s house. Bags, under the bed, among the books, the bundles of notes came out from everywhere. Some fifty notes, somewhere hundred and some bundle of five hundred. Overall, millions of rupees were received. Not only this, their assets are being told more than crores of bank accounts and PF.

Dambaru did not spend money

Dumbaru used to hide the money, but it was probably not in his habit to spend. Despite the electricity connection, he used to live a candle. Despite getting a salary of 50 thousand rupees in a month, there was an old Khatola, an swollen and an old dress in his house. A few years ago his bicycle was stolen, but did not even bought a new bicycle-kept coming to the hospital on foot.

Used to eat food with cheap dhabas

Dambaru never married and had no close relatives. According to neighbors, they used to live by demanding from outside or eating them with cheap dhabas. After his death, when the lock of his house was broken in the presence of the police, all this money came out.

Now the biggest question is, whose accumulated capital of Dambaru will be? Because they have no direct heir, and now the administration will have to decide who should be assigned to this money.

This story of Dambru makes us think that why we add money throughout our life, if neither can we use it ourselves, nor can we give it to anyone.
