Syara’s trailer release: Why did Mohit Suri choose Ahan-Anti who in place of Ranbir-Alia? Know the story behind the curtain

Syara, the much awaited film of Yash Raj Films and famous director Mohit Suri, has brought a storm on social media with the trailer release. This film is not only in the discussion for an emotional love story, but is also special because it is making two new faces – Ahan Pandey and Anit Padda – making a bang in Bollywood.

Mohit Suri, who has made iconic love stories like Aashiqui 2 and a villain, has also brought an emotional but fresh love story this time. But the interesting thing is that he himself has revealed that he had given up the intention of making Saira with debut actors.

Says Mohit, “I had made up my mind to quit this script because I was not getting any new artist in which he is deep and acting.

But then came the turning point-Yash Raj Films’ Saath and Ahan-Anti’s audition. Says Mohit, “When I saw Anit and Ahan’s auditions, I was shocked. These two are not just beautiful faces, both of them have the truth and emotional understanding of acting. Then I decided that now the film has to be made as it was written.”

The music album of the film has already been super hit. Title track ‘Saira’, Jubin Nautiyal’s ‘wasted’, Vishal Mishra’s ‘Tum Ho To’, ‘Humsafar’ of the Aware-tradition and ‘Dhun’ music charts of Arijit-Mithun are making a splash on music charts.

Akshay Vidhani, CEO of Yash Raj Films, says, “We have always created love stories that touch the hearts. Mohit Suri’s romance matches our vision, so this collabing is very special.”

Anit Padda, who was greatly appreciated by the web series Big Girls Don’T Cry, has now become Yash Raj’s next big heroine. At the same time, the company is launching Ahan Pandey as a fresh YRF hero.

The film Saira will be released in theaters around the world on 18 July 2025. It will be interesting to see if this film will be able to touch the hearts of the young audience just as love or Aashiqui 2 touched.
