MCA Named Icon Players for T20 Mumbai League 2025:

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on Tuesday released a list of 8 icon players for the Mumbai T20 League 2025 (T20 Mumbai League 2025). The list also includes the current T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav of Team India. Apart from this, the list also includes stars like Ajinkya Rahane and Shreyas Iyer, who took command of India.

What did MCA President say after the announcement of icon players?

The President of the Mumbai Cricket Association quoted the report published in the Indian Express, saying, “We are very happy to announce 8 icons who have made Mumbai proud while playing at domestic cricket and international level. They represent the spirit, heritage and excellence of Mumbai cricket.”

He further said, “His presence will not only inspire young players but will also get a golden opportunity to learn because we are committed to finding and promoting the next generation cricket stars of India. The league will increase in the league and the fans will get a great and memorable feeling.”

It is mandatory for all Indian players of Mumbai to play

Explain that it has been made mandatory for all their Indian players to play in the league by the Mumbai Cricket Association. The MCA said that Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian Test and ODI team, is ‘Face of League’.
