Tata and Mahindra will soon bring their two new powerful SUVs, know what features will be available

5-door Mahindra Thar
In 2024, Mahindra & Mahindra is expected to launch a 5-door version of its popular Thar SUV. This model will see some minor design changes similar to the existing ICE model. Its interior is also expected to be very special, which will have a larger 10-inch infotainment system, which will be an upgrade from the standard 7-inch unit. Other features include a dash cam, single-pane sunroof and newly designed center console and front and rear armrests. The 5-door Thar will be powered by the Scorpio N’s 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines, which will further enhance its off-road capability.

Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors is planning to launch an all-new electric version of the Sierra SUV by 2025. Taking inspiration from the concept model showcased at this year’s Auto Expo, the Sierra EV will position itself as a powerful, lifestyle SUV. It should measure between 4.3 and 4.4 meters in length, and may be available in 4 and 5 seat configurations. Based on Tata’s Gen 2 platform, the Sierra EV will be equipped with two battery options – 60 kWh and 80 kWh, which will provide much higher range. Its AWD configuration will come with electric motors on the front and rear axles. Its estimated range will be around 500 kilometers per charge.
