Tata Motors’ compact SUV ‘Panch’ has achieved the historic status of production of 6 lakh units in less than 4 years. Announcing this achievement on Thursday, the company said that this record has given Panch a strong place as the country’s most favorite SUV. The National Capital Region (NCR) alone contributes 13 percent to its total production.
Tata Panch was launched in October 2021. It launched a new vehicle category – sub -compact SUV -. In the year 2024, it was the country’s best -selling car.
Vivek Srivats, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, said that Panch is a symbol of the feeling of new India that is self -sufficient, feeling free and knows how to decide his own way. Crossing the six lakh production figure is not just a manufacturing achievement, but the confirmation of the trust of more than six lakh Indians who chose Panch.
