Panchal further wrote, “That (father) left us long ago and it was a dream that I have been carrying together for the last 2 decades, even today. I announce my retirement from Priyank Panchal, First Class cricket with immediate effect.”

Priyank Panchal, who played 127 first class matches, has not yet got a chance to play in Team India. He has scored 8856 runs in 207 innings of first class at an average of 45.18. Priyank has also scored a triple century in his first class career, which was a career high score (314*).
