The Indian cricket team is going to get a big blow before the Asia Cup 2025 next month. After this injury, it was reported that Pant would be out of the field for at least six weeks, but on Thursday (August 7) a new report of the Times of India came, according to which it has been revealed that he would not be able to play in the Asia Cup 2025 and he is also suspicious to play in the two -match Test series against the West Indies.

The Asia Cup 2025 will be played in UAE from 9 to 28 September, while the two -match Test series between India and West Indies will be played between 2 and 14 October in Ahmedabad and Delhi. The Times of India report said, “Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant will not require surgery after fracture in toe during the fourth Test in Manchester. However, Pant is out of cricket for at least six weeks. He will be out of the Asia Cup and possibly the West Indies series.”

If we talk about Pant’s current form, he played four matches in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy and scored a total of 479 runs with the help of two centuries and three fifties. In such a situation, the Indian team does not miss the lack of Pant in the Asia Cup, but it will definitely be difficult to fill their deficiency in the Test series against the West Indies.
