In the second T20 match played between India and South Africa in Port Elizabeth, South Africa defeated India by three wickets. The Indian team had set a target of 125 runs for the South African team. In reply, South Africa achieved the target by losing 7 wickets in 19 overs. Tristan Strubs played a brilliant inning of 47 runs for the South African team.

Varun Chakraborty took five wickets for 17 runs.

On behalf of the Indian team, Varun Chakraborty tried his best to bring the Indian team back into the match and almost made the Indian team win the match. But Avesh Khan’s bad over turned the entire momentum towards South Africa. Varun Chakraborty achieved 5 successes by giving just 17 runs in four overs. For the South African team, Gerald Coetzee scored 19 runs and Reeza Hendricks scored 24 runs in nine balls.

If the spells of Varun Chakraborty and Bishnoi are left out from the Indian team, then the fast bowlers of the Indian team have disappointed a lot. The Indian team should have won this match. But South Africa’s batsmen performed brilliantly in the end and won. Tristan Strubs, who scored 47 runs for the South African team, was given the title of Player of the Match.
