In Saunsar district, Chhindwara, Jabalpur division of MP, the 19-year-old daughter of the Tehsildar committed suicide by jumping in front of a goods train late at night. Meanwhile, mother was calling on the mobile phone since 7 pm but the call was not picked up, after which it was switched off. The mother was shocked by the news of her daughter committing suicide. The police reached the spot and handed over the body to the family members after post-mortem.
Palak, daughter of Tehsildar Bhavna Malgam of Saunsar tehsil of Chhindwara, left home last evening and committed suicide by jumping in front of a goods train on the Gunjarkhedi railway track. Tehsildar Bhavna Malgam came home around 7 pm and saw that her daughter Palak was not there. He asked the people living nearby about Palak, when he did not get any information, he called the mobile phone but the call was also not received, after some time the phone got switched off. The mother got scared when daughter Palak’s phone was switched off, she informed the police. At around 11 pm, some people saw the mutilated body of the girl on the railway track and informed the police. The police reached the spot and identified the deceased as Palak. The police handed over the body to the family members after post-mortem. After this, Tehsildar Bhavna Malgam took the mortal remains of her daughter Palak to Balaghat, where the daughter was cremated. Palak had passed 12th class, she also has an elder brother who had gone to Balaghat two days ago. Police also got information that Palak’s father had died ten years ago due to illness. The mother was taking care of both the children. The family had shifted to Saunsar only five months ago.
