Telangana: Severe explosion in chemical factory, 10 killed in reactor explosion, 20 injured

A chemical factory took place on Monday (June 30) in Sangreddy district of Telangana. 10 people died in the reactor explosion. At the same time, close to a dozen is injured. There is a possibility of increasing the number of people who lost their lives in this accident. Officials said more than a dozen workers were injured in an explosion in a chemical factory in the Pasmelram Phase 1 area of Sangreddy district of Telangana on Monday. As soon as the incident was reported, 11 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and got involved in the work of extinguishing the fire.
A police officer said that the exact cause of the blast is yet to be ascertained. After talking to the workers, he said, “The explosion completely flew away the industrial shed. The explosion was so strong that some laborers jumped into the air and fell about 100 meters away.”
There were 100 laborers on duty
In the chemical factory where there is a blast, there is a work of preparing different types of chemicals. Around 100 laborers were working in the factory at the time of the incident. A large number of people have been injured in the blast. However, the exact figure of the injured and the dead has not been revealed so far. Officials say that the exact figure of the injured and the dead will be revealed only after the rescue operation is over.

No body found on the spot
Telangana fire officials said, “The incident occurred in Sigachi Pharma Company, Pasmalaram Phase 1. 11 fire vehicles have reached the spot. Around 15-20 people have been injured. Waiting for detailed information.” Meanwhile, the administration is running a rescue operation and has not yet found any bodies from the spot. Sangreddy Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj said, “No body has been recovered yet, rescue operations are on, we will give information in some time.” Further information is awaited.
