Hyderabad: In Telangana, BJP’s leading face and hardcore Hinduist leader T Raja Singh has resigned from BJP. It is heard that the BJP had agreed in the name of N Ramchandra Rao as Telangana BJP President, but T Raja Singh was angry with this decision, so he resigned from the party.
Who is N Ramchandra Rao?
N Ramchandra Rao is a senior BJP leader in Telangana. Now he will take charge of BJP in Telangana. He is considered one of the prominent BJP leaders in the state. He has been a Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and comes from the Brahmin community.
RSS has strong relationships
It is believed that the party has decided in favor of Ramchandra Rao after a class of RSS leaders in Telangana and a party faction recommended to his name. He has strong roots in the RSS and grew up in ABVP’s school. He has been loyal to him since the time of joining the saffron party. He is a staunch leader of BJP. It is being said that the party chose him because they are acceptable to all sections of the party.
Although they come from the Brahmin community, they have been selected to preserve the party till the elections to be held three and a half years later. The party can decide on a new face before the elections, as the president’s term is three years old. Experts believe that the party can then choose a backward caste leader.
The selection of Ramchandra Rao has revealed the existence of never ending the new president of the party. Apart from Rajendra, many names were in discussion, including Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind and Union Minister captive Sanjay Kumar were prominent.
Will BJP be able to convince T Raja?
Since T Raja Singh is considered a BJP firebrand leader in Telangana, when he has resigned from the BJP, there is speculation whether the BJP will be able to celebrate him, or T Raja will form his new party.
