‘Terrorism not tolerated’, NSA Ajit Doval gave a clear message at SCO meeting in China

Beijing: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Tuesday gave a strong message to prevent cross -border terrorism at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting. He demanded strict action against those promoting terrorism, its organizers and those who gave money for it. This statement is mainly considered against the terrorism supported by Pakistan.
What did Doval say?
Doval said in his speech that India is constantly threatened by terrorist organizations such as Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Al Qaeda, ISIS, which have also been banned by the United Nations. He referred to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 26 Indians and a Nepali citizen were killed by a Lashkar-e-Taiba organization TRF and injured several people. In response to this attack, India started Operation Sindoor, which aims to destroy terrorist bases and to stop attacks in India. Doval described it as an accurate and restrained action, which was not to instigate anyone.
He insisted that one should not adopt a double attitude in the fight against terrorism. He appealed to all countries to take concrete steps against terrorist organizations and their supporters. Doval also said that any terrorist act including terrorism crossing border is a crime against humanity. He requested the SCO countries to cooperate in punishing terrorists, their organizers, funds and supporters. At the same time, he also said to unite and run information campaign to fight terrorism, separatism and fundamentalism.
