The prosecution also expressed concern about Rana’s lack of cooperation in the investigation. During the court hearing during this, the court said that the review of the case diary shows that the NIA is investigating with full dedication. The Special NIA court on Wednesday allowed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to receive the voice and handwriting samples of the Mastermind of 26/11.
Who is Tahwwur Rana?
Tahwwur Hussain Rana is the important name among the major conspirators of the 26/11 Mumbai attack. He is considered close to David Coleman Headley, the mastermind of the Mumbai attack. Headley and Rana were friends since school time. Headley later admitted that he was working for Lashkar-e-Taiba and Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. This terrorist attack shook the entire country. 10 terrorists who brought training in Pakistan, armed with modern weapons targeted congested places in Mumbai.
