Tesla’s plan to expand charging networks in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru
Tesla’s Charging Network: American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla is planning to expand its super charging network in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru. A senior company official gave this information on Monday. The company plans to start supply in India by September.
Plan to open supercharging station: Tesla’s Regional Director (South East Asia) Isabel Fan inaugurated India’s second experience center at the Aerocity of the national capital. On this occasion, he said that apart from Gurugram and Noida, the company is planning to open another supercharging station in Saket. Tesla opened its first experience center in Mumbai last month and also introduced its model Y car starting from Rs 59.89 lakh.
Priority of Delhi and Mumbai Company: He said that Delhi and Mumbai are the priority of the company. The company will open its supercharging station in Gurugram in the next few weeks, after which other stations will be opened in Saket (South Delhi) and Noida. Isabel said that Tesla is planning to set up a supercharging stations in Lower Parel, Navi Mumbai and Thane in Mumbai, which will be in addition to the existing station in the Bandra-Kurla complex.
He said that apart from this the company will also expand in Bangalore. Isabel also informed that the company will soon start its mobile service, remote diagnostics, service centers and other services in India. (Language)
