Tharoor’s delegation returned from a trip to 5 countries

The last group of All -party delegation, which went to tell the attitude of India against Operation Sindoor and terrorism, has also returned to India on Tuesday. Under the leadership of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, this delegation went to 5 countries- America, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia.

Shashi Tharoor spoke to the media at Delhi Airport. He said- We were welcomed well in the five countries where we went. We had a high level meeting with the President, Prime Minister, Vice President and other senior leaders of those countries. Those people understood why India did operation vermilion after the Pahalgam attack.

Tharoor said- The central government had sent MPs of all parties abroad to convey the message of unity of India beyond political boundaries. We did what we were asked to do and we are returning home very happy.

Tharoor said about meeting PM Modi this evening, ‘We are very happy that the Prime Minister wants to meet us. However, this will not be a formal meeting. As far as I know there will be high breakfast in the evening). PM will meet all delegation informally.

Modi will meet seven delegation at PM residence at 7 pm
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Operation Sindoor and India’s attitude against terrorism today from the all-party delegation. At 7 pm, the Prime Minister’s residence will meet at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg.

During this time, all the delegation groups will inform PM Modi about the conversation in their foreign tour. News agency ANI said that Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has informed all 7 delegation members about the meeting.

The central government sent 59 MPs from different parties to 33 countries after Operation Sindoor. These MPs were divided into 7 all-party delegation. 8 former diplomats were also involved with delegation.

On 22 April, 26 tourists were killed in the Pahalgam terror attack. In response to this, on May 7, under Operation Sindoor, India did an air strike at 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan. More than 100 terrorists were killed in this.
