The actor used to get the actor every day, it was for three days for a shot, then Amitabh took the trick
We have a movie scene.
Bollywood actor Vijay Patkar, who is known for his characters in films like ‘Simba’, ‘Singham’, ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Dhamaal’, recently shared an interesting anecdote in an interview. He told how the veteran actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth had to wait for a shot for several days during the shooting of the film ‘Hum’. Talking about this habit of Govinda’s delay, Vijay Patkar praised Amitabh Bachchan and explained why he is still in the industry.
Shot was shot on the fourth day
In a conversation with the film mantra media, Vijay Patkar recalled an incident associated with actor Deepak Shirke, saying that director Mukul Anand had to shoot a special scene at sunrise and VFX could not be resorted to at that time. Therefore, waiting for real sunrise was necessary for shooting, but this scene could not be shot for three days as Govinda did not reach the set. Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and other artists kept coming on the set every day, but due to the absence of Govinda, the shooting could not be done. Finally, when Govinda came on the fourth day, the scene could be shot. The special thing is that despite such a wait, Amitabh and Rajinikanth did not complain.
Amitabh takes the trick
Vijay also told that during the shooting of the film ‘Bade Mian Chhoti Mian’, Amitabh Bachchan himself used to go to his house to pick up Govinda. He used to go to his bungalow in his car, call him and then leave for shooting together. Vijay said, ‘That is why Bachchan Saheb is still working continuously. If someone has to show tantrums with stardom, first one has to reach that level. The producer gives you money for acting, not for your attitude. ‘ He also admitted that the manufacturers suffered losses several times due to Govinda’s habit of getting on the late set. However, Vijay Patkar, while praising Govinda’s talent, also said that this habit of not restricting time became a major reason for the decline in his career.
Inspired by foreign film
The film ‘Hum’ was an action-crime film released in 1991, which featured many big stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth and Govinda. The film was inspired by the American film ‘Target’ and Mukul S. Was directed by Anand. Govinda’s last release was ‘Rangeela Raja’ in 2019, which proved to be a badly flop at the box office. He is away from films since then.
