The beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme will continue to get subsidy

A cabinet meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, 5 important decisions have been taken in the cabinet meeting. A total of ₹ 52,667 crore funds/projects have been approved for this.

Vaishnav said that subsidy will also be given to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in 2025-26, for which ₹ 12,060 crore has been sanctioned. He said that the PM Ujjwala scheme has been appreciated globally for inclusive development (development for all). Its purpose is to change people’s lives.

The Railway Minister informed that it has been decided in the meeting that public sector oil companies will be given compensation of ₹ 30,000 crore to compensate the domestic LPG. At the same time, the Merite Scheme will be given ₹ 4,200 crore help to improve technical education.

Apart from this, 4 new projects have been approved under the current scheme of special development package for Assam and Tripura, which will cost a total of ₹ 4,250 crore. At the same time, a 46 km long four -lane highway will be built between Markanam -Puducherry in Tamil Nadu, which will cost ₹ 2,157 crore.

31 July- 6 important decisions were taken in the meeting

Earlier on July 31, a cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had told, ‘6 important decisions have been taken in the Modi cabinet meeting. Of these, 2 farmers and food are connected to the sector. At the same time, four decisions are to strengthen the railway network in the North-Eastern sector.
