Prime Video remained the show on a large scale because the first season proved to be a hit on OTT. Now, Gulshan has confirmed this news on his Instagram story. Sonakshi also posted a note, which wrote, ‘Finally !!! Can’t wait for that uniform to come back. ‘ Also tagged producers Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar and Prime Video. Gulshan took a pinch on his Instagram story and said, “Now … where did I keep that uniform.”

Manufactured by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the crime thriller is based on the background of Rajasthan where two policemen (starred by Sonakshi and Gulshan) take determination to highlight the mystery of 27 missing women. Directed by Reema and Ruchika Oberoi, ‘Dahad’ is the first Indian streaming series to be premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, where it competed for the Berlinley Series Award. It also stars Vijay Verma and Soham Shah. Released on 12 May 2023 on Amazon Prime, the show is inspired by the real -life story of Mohan Kumar, also known as Syanide Mohan who was a serial killer, who implicated 20 women in a marriage trap and killed them.
