Historical action drama Chhawa, the fearless son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, alives the extraordinary journey of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, whose legacy has set the direction of Indian history. Vicky Kaushal has played the role of Sambhaji in this film and the film has proved to be the biggest superhit of this year by earning more than Rs 800 crore. National Award winner Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Chhava’ is ready for premiere on television on the weekend, or 17 August. On this occasion, he said while talking about the film that he put his heart in every moment of the film. The actor told that for the first time the film which will air on Star Gold on August 17 at 8 pm, will also be available in Marathi on select operators on television. He further said, “This will make it even more special for Marathi speaking audience.” The Chhawa is directed by Laxman Utekar and has Rashika Mandana as Queen Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Divya Dutta as Queen Soyarabai, Vineet Kumar Singh as Kavi Kalash and Ashutosh Rana as Hambirrao Mohite.
