The iPhone 17 series is going to be launched on 9 September this month. New models of iPhone 17 will be introduced at Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ event. The news about the iPhone 17 series has been coming out for a long time. Now a new report has come out, claiming that all models of Apple’s upcoming series will come without physical SIM card slots. However, earlier it was reported that only the physical SIM card port will not be available in the iPhone 17 Air.

These 4 models will be launched

The iPhone 17 series will launch four models iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The company will not launch the iPhone 17 Plus this year. According to Macrumrs report, Apple is organizing a training session with its retail staff, which will be told about the ESIM support of the iPhone 17 series. According to the report, the company will launch the iPhone 17 series without physical SIM card in the European Union.

The European Union includes countries like France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Netherlands. However, the company can support physical SIM in India, China, UK, Australia, Middle East, UAE etc. According to the report, this training of retail stores employees will be conducted on September 5, which shows that the upcoming iPhone 17 series will be launched without physical SIM.

Apple first launched the iPhone 14 series in the US market in 2022 without a SIM card tray. Since then, all the models launched have appeared in the US market without a SIM card. However, in other markets, iPhone models have been introduced for a physical SIM card and an ESIM support.

Is ESIM safe?

ESIM is being described as a Convinance for users. Users with e-sim card support do not face problems related to SIM card. Also, users can get better network support in the phone. According to the report, E-SIM has been considered a safe solution. Users can deactivate their SIM card. However, it is not so easy to transfer ESIM from one device to another device like a physical SIM card.
