Srirangapatna: A surprising case has come to light in Mandya district of Karnataka. The body of Dr. Subbanna Ayyappa, who has been awarded the Agricultural Scientist and Padma Shri Award, has been found here. It is being told that he was missing for the past several days. His body has been recovered from the river. At the same time, his scooter has also been found from the banks of the river. He had his wife and two daughters in his family. At present, the police team has registered a case in this case. Apart from this, the case is being investigated.

Dead body found from Kaveri River

According to the information, Dr. Subbanna Ayyappan (70), a famous agricultural scientist and awarded Padma Shri Award, went missing a few days ago. At the same time, on Saturday evening, the police has recovered his body from the Kaveri River near Sai Ashram in Srirangapatna. Doy Subbanna was living with his wife in Viseshwar Nagar Industrial Area in Mysore. It is being told that he went missing from his house on 7 May. He also has his wife and two daughters in his family. At present, the Srirangapatna police have registered a case in this case. Apart from this, the police team is involved in the investigation of the cause of death.

Scooter also recovered

Police said that an unknown body was reported to be seen in the Cauvery river on Saturday evening. When the police team reached the spot, then the body was taken out of the river. After this, the body was identified and he was identified as Dr. Subbanna Ayyappan, scientist. Agricultural scientist Subbanna’s scooter is also found from the banks of the river. At the same time, the Mandya police said that the police had received information about seeing an unknown body in the river on Saturday evening. When they reached the spot and took out the dead body from the river, the scientist was identified. Ayyappan’s scooter was found on the banks of the river.
