A family in Balasore district of Odisha faced trouble when the body of his dead son was swapped. The family has alleged that he found the body of someone else instead of his son dead in Bangalore due to a wrong name sticker on the coffin. This incident is from Mulising village in Soro block.
Death due to current suffering
The family reported that his 21 -year -old son Rakesh Shaw worked as a supervisor in a private company in Bengaluru. On August 15, he died after being hit by electric current. Subsequently, his body was sent in an ambulance along with the body of another person from Siliguri in West Bengal.
On Monday, when the ambulance reached Mulising village with Rakesh’s body coffin and was handed over to the family, the family breathed a sigh of relief. However, when he opened the coffin, he found that the body inside was not of Rakesh. Seeing this, the whole family was shocked.
If the ambulance returned, then …
Immediately the family approached the company that arranged to send the coffin. On this information, the company instructed the ambulance carrying the second coffin to Siliguri to come back to Mulising village from the middle way. Eventually, when the ambulance returned, Rakesh’s family found his correct body. Subsequently, the ambulance left for Siliguri with the wrong body given earlier.
Family members have blamed the company for this disturbance. They allege that before leaving the body, the coffin was put in the wrong name sticker, due to which the whole incident occurred. (input language)
