Rohit, who has been away from cricket since IPL 2025, is now focusing on his fitness, while this test will check fitness before the upcoming series of both the players.

Let us tell you that according to some media sources, Indian ODI team captain Rohit Sharma and veteran batsman KL Rahul will soon come down to give the Yo-Yo test. The test will be held on August 30 and 31 at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. Passing in this Test, which has become an important part of Team India’s fitness standards, is considered necessary for the selection of players. It is being told that soon Indian star batsman Virat Kohli will also go through this Test.

Since IPL 2025, there is a continuous discussion about Rohit Sharma, who has been away from cricket, whether he will retire from ODI cricket after the tour of Australia this year. Meanwhile, he is working on his fitness so that Team can perform strongly in the last moments for India. According to some media reports, he will take part in ODIs against Australia A on 30 September, 3 and 5 October against Australia A. It is believed that these matches will be prepared for him before the three -match ODI series against Australia from October 19 to 25.

Rohit Sharma, 38, has already retired from T20 and Test cricket. In such a situation, some media reports say that Australia tour may be the last chapter of his ODI career. However, fans are hoping that he remains a part of Team India till 2027 World Cup.
